My name is Esther Buzzell. I am a Spanish teacher with years of experience, and I currently teach Spanish in middle school and high school. I teach classes in beginner Spanish all the way through advanced Spanish, in which we only speak Spanish during class. I grew up in Spain, living there for 13 years, and I am fluent in Spanish. About half of my family lives in Mexico, and I have a thorough grasp of grammar and speaking patterns from both countries.

I love my job, and I am passionate about helping my students grow their communication skills! There is nothing more satisfying to me than those “light bulb” moments, when a concept finally clicks for a student, and they master using what they’ve learned effectively. I am an encourager, I teach Spanish with patience and positivity, I love making my students feel comfortable!

I am skilled at helping students who are struggling, I can reteach and walk them through what they are learning in their Spanish classes at any level to help them to succeed. I can also help students at intermediate and advanced levels to hone their skills and take them to the next level. I can help with homework assignments, and to prepare them for tests. I am also available for direct communication from your student’s school Spanish teacher if you find it helpful, so that they can tell me what specifically your student needs to work on.
